It's nothing to do with Andy Warhol, by the way.

Of course, by and large, on-line automatic web-diary things are thoroughly awful, which is why up 'til now my Livejournal account has served exclusively as a means of replying to posts made by friends. However, the stirling efforts (and gentle nagging) of this excellent chap have convinced me that it might be possible to use this thing in a non- ( Read more... )

If you're stuck for a real-life comic shop there are a few places on the interweb that can get it for you, although I'm told that problems have been encountered with people trying to buy Bubba comics from Rabbit Valley, so you might want to avoid them. A better option might be the on-line home of Cracked magazine (http://www.crackedmag.com), which the creators of Bubba are now affiliated with - there's actually going to be a special crossover story in issue 365, and I expect they'll be selling copies of Bubba #6 as soon as it's available. (They've still got copies of Bubba #5 in stock as well, if anybody wants one.)

Here, hang on. That was another bull joke, wasn't it? Right, where's that phone?

Bah, I almost forgot to post on this.

Yay for LJ updates AND exclusive material! The process of behind the scenes art always fascinates me. Heh, for what it's worth, I like the white belly, but yeah, the dark-grey works a lot better than pure black. I don't know about you, but reverse-white linework on black characters always makes my hand fall off.

Again, he's quite the fun-looking attitudinal bruiser. I've always had a soft spot for taurines. Very much looking forward to the comic, but more about that in e-mail :-)

BTW, I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of your cat ;-)

Both my cats seem to have inherited my intense dislike of cameras, and without fail manage to ruin photographs by unexpectedly dashing out of frame or looking in completely the wrong direction, so it's probably not an option in any case. Possibly I could try sketching one of them when he's not looking.

And yes, anti-linework is an unfailingly tiresome process, and potentially quite brain-addling. I'd have gone completely bonkers after four months of drawing Angus like that.
