Why LJ must you be that way?

So I am a bit iritated. I just found out that LJ does not have any cool feature like myspace or facebook that notifies you when someone posts on your stuff as you log in. So this whole time I didnt know anyone posted replys and I just found them all. Geeze LJ, you let me down this time

hah! actually, somewhere you can set your preferences to get e-mail alerts everytime someone comments on your blog or comments on one of your comments in someone else's blog. so there!
