Nallely's birthday celebrations last night were excellent. Thanks to those of you who made it to the pub! Dead and Buried was a lot of fun too - the music was fantastic and there was a great turn out.

I have been so busy recently and haven't had much time to update lj. My second application to the Arts Council is in but I have a presentation for the Art Collective's steering group which needs to be ready by the end of the week, 3 signs for the animal centre to create and a grand opening for the studio which I need to prepare for. Had an excellent time in Vienna but unfortunately we had to put up with some severe incompetence on behalf of Heathrow airport. We had 2 flights cancelled, 2 days stuck in Austria with no hotel or information about whether we would be back home for Christmas and when we finally made it back to Heathrow we find that our luggage was missing. I was up in the early hours of this morning preparing for the band's final gig before Christmas - the Greenford Christmas carnival. Today was a pretty big deal. It was the first time all of the members had been able to play together as a group. My application for Arts Council funding has been turned down. I'm not sure where this leaves the Art Collective - we are running out of money and the grant was to turn the collective into a fully functioning social enterprise to provide workshops for artists with learning disabilities.
