The second step towards becoming a published author

The first step, of course, is to write something, but I've taken that step so many times I could try out for the Rockettes. This second step, however, is a first for me. My first rejection letter! and I couldn't be happier (unless it was an acceptence letter + cheque ( Read more... )

Thank you for submitting your 'story.' We 'enjoyed' reading it, but found tubthumping to be 'more' enjoyable. "Try Outs" was a little long, and we didn't understand most of it. Especially the part where Tony calls his dog by the wrong name but it comes anyways?

It feels funny congratulating you on a rejection letter, but it is really exciting. That's the first one I've read, so I don't know, but I agree that it does sound genuine, so I think you should be encouraged. Glad things are going well for you. I must e-mail you soon.
