Anyone out there ever do anything with XML and C? I am looking at switching the way AMS passes data around to XML and AMS already has a huge C base to it.

I did a shitty, shitty job writing an expat parser in C++ when I was on SOFIA at Imaging Sci. There is nothing OO about expat, though, so it would work fine in C too...

Yeah, expat is still the best way to parse XML from C.
