Re: PS3s.

Look at this, I go out of my way for a chance to help friends save hundreds of dollars and myself lose up to $2,000, just to get hit with a jab like this:

Some simple axioms are, apparently, difficult to figure out. After all, it did take me nearly 25 years to figure out what "Do Unto Others As You Would Want Them Do Unto You" actually means. Now I'm starting to get it though. Maybe in time your quote will be figured out by those who don't.

High Matt

I had heard that eBay put a pseudo-ban on people selling ps3s, and only those lucky few with a rating of 90-95% or higher.

So... kudos Matt Canning

Hi!!

My feedback is 100% and the auctions have been doing fine so I'm pleased with the result.

Recently someone screwed me over and didn't send an item that I paid for. What makes me disappointed is that it was for Alex Aiello. I e-mailed the guy a few times with no reply.

If I leave him with negative feedback, he will do the same.

So here is the trick:

You have 90 days to leave feedback. I plan to leave his feedback at the last few seconds. At that point he will have no way to leave me with any feedback, even if he uses an automated feedback system. That's what he gets, not so much for not sending the package, but for being so rude as to outright avoid the e-mails. That wasn't very nice. Otherwise, leaving negative feedback can always come back to you, even if you are in the right. It is one of the risks with EBAY. I like EBAY though, it's like google - a really good service in my opinion.

I miss...Kayley!

I have had great success so far and I'm considering withholding one of the PS3s for a true friend. Certainly not for anyone who feels they are entitled to something I earned though. I expect that whoever I give it to at cost will be smiling from ear to ear, doing summersaults, and thanking the heavens. I also expect they would offer to buy me dinner or something like that. As zermatt said in Ryan's blog, any situation other than this one would be rude by at least one of the parties, and with any two true friends, the exact situation above would pan out. And to a true friend, I would definitely reject their offer for dinner, but it's the thought that counts.

I might do that. But it will most definitely only be for the right person.

Hi Matt, came to your blog by googgling on something else...read a few posts of yours with interest. It is wonderful to know that there are people who go out of their way to help. Like you, whenever a friend asked for help, I cant seem to 'turn them down'. One day I reaslied, I'll help only those that I think 'deserve' my help, as you mentioned, people who worked hard and just need that 'extra help' to get it. I decided I'll listen to my heart and am not going to "sacrifice" myself. if someone say i need $1000, i'll only help as much as I can, if its just $50/$100, be it. I'll just offer that (its a take-it-or-leave-it things for me now) I worked hard for whatever I have, why shouldnt others be? People who are never grateful or thankful for what others (not just myself) who offered help to them in times of needs, i'm going 'hard hearted' by refusing to help them no matter how much they beg (Even if they decided to say bad about me later). Friends are earned, just like respect. Lastly, remember, life is short, do whatever makes u feel ( ... )
