Only the dash is not the only problem I see on my laptop!
The background is to light from the color the picture has.

it's probably only because your screen isn't as large, maybe?

maybe just take a sample from the bottom of the image and tile that as the background?

The new layout is beautiful, I'm in love! I hope you can figure out the dash in between your header links. It's quite annoying when you can't work out a kink in your CSS.

I FIXED IT!! ♥ i'm so happy i figured it out, because it was really starting to bug me - and i'm totally not a CSS genius, so i had no idea what i was doing =P BUT IT'S FIXED!

GREAT! Believe me, it'd bug me too. I suppose it derives from my perfectionist attitude towards CSS haha 8)

If you don't mind me asking, what was the issue? I'm such a CSS geek :B
