Oh mannnn, thirty hour famine is definitely something I'll be doing next year. Maybe with some real pledging. That was some of the most fun I've ever had in my life.
Okay, so we got out of class at noon and took over the gym. No TVs came in till 3, but Cameron brought his own so we played a bunch of Halo and Smash. At 3 we walked (bad idea) to Jackson's and back since we needed gaming supplies. Upon our re-arrival, most of the night is basically a blur, so I'll recap things I did instead of the order.
* Played Smash with Cameron, Nico and a few others
* Mario Karted with many people...not for too long though
* Played Halo with Phil and some people, as well as lots and lots of Halo 3
* Watched a couple episodes of Kenny vs Spenny on Erica's modded Xbox (ME WANTY)
* Watched The Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Meaning of Life and V For Vendetta (OH MY GOD DROOOOL @ ALL THREE)
* Played a bit of badminton/frisbee and such
* Threw the hula hoops at the dividing barrier between the gyms with a spin so they came back, eventually "racing" with Nadia.
* Shuffled around in a sleeping bag
* Slid across the gym floor in socks (My prime mode of transport)
* Went on Meebo for a while and chatted it up with some cool cats (Including the very amazing Jessa!)
AND OF COURSE.
* Went thirty one hours without even the slightest morsel of food (Jimmy went hardcore and went 44 hours- he didn't eat breakfast!)
* Drank very little other than stealing drinks (Jess drank only water, the crazy girl)
* Ate large amounts of pizza in a short space of time and practically chugged a litre of Sprite after it was over with.
My gaming bag was intense, I'm surprised I didn't lose anything. I had an Xbox, a controller for the Xbox, three Cube controllers, two Wiimotes (which were tragically never used), 4 Xbox games (three of which didn't get any attention due to all 5 Xbox owners bringing Halo 2) 5 Cube games (Only the two popular ones, Smash and Double Dash, got any playtime) and my Cube memory card for use with Smash. I left with an extra controller since Meri was sick and left early without most of her junk.
Speaking of, I'm sad I missed DDR, but there was wayyy too many good movies going on.
