Surprise, surprise... I've been doing some thinking, and I think I am a true neutral with tendencies towards good(thats for you D&D friends). But more than that, I think I'm really buying into all of my thoughts on the neutrality subject. Now I guess I should stop right now and clarify that I'm talking about spirituality and the realms of the ( Read more... )

i totally agree with you on this one. if anyone doesnt know by now, im quite a skeptic when it comes to religion and gods. i wouldnt concider myself an aethist when it comes to believing in a god/gods, but i am for sure an agnostic with some aethist tendencies. i know at least for myself i can live a happy and filling life without the need of one certian religion. i have studied many religions and have learned that every religion has a valued and working theory on how to live a forfilled life. the only question is on the spirituality part of the different religions. which one is more right? which god is the true god? can this be really how it is? everyone asks these questions sooner or later ( ... )

This theory works in all cases except in Christianity. Because not only is our God purely good, but all things of this universe are within his power. Satan is not outside the power of God, neither is the evil that he daily inflicts. All things are within God's power to control, good and evil.

Well that works too, a being that is absolute everything, in essence it'd be neutrality, every end or even every point on the spectrum. That'd be a true over-god there.

Neutrality is not equivalent to everything- even neutrality has a slant to it; obviously, it cannot do too much in the way or good/evil or it would lose balance. I'd offer more, but I'm tired.

How can it be possible to be neutral when we all have bias and prejudices?

Well, we can't be neutral, only strive towards it. We can't be absolutes of any kind really. But if you could somehow have a being who was completly un-biased and unprejudiced I think that'd be the closest thing we'd have to a living God. Of course he'd need to be able to fly and throw fireballs too.
