Well - that's the beauty of it. You say something, and everyone argues with you. It's just a matter of being informed before speaking, and also of being respectful to the people you argue with. There is still freedom because you can say whatever you want... but the people on the other side have that equal freedom, as well.
I guess though, that when it comes to people voting "no" for the school budget, I do get angry and curse *shrug*
i really wish i could talk about *real* things in my livejournal, but apparently if i do i'll have 89 comments about it and multiple verbal bashings. : (
part of having an opinion is being able to handle that opinion being attacked. there's nothing wrong with sparking debate as long as people aren't jerks about it, and even if they are, it's their problem, not yours.
