Bastard moving, this will be the fifth time in 12 months, gah :| Everything’s packed up*again*, though I managed to condense it down to three plastic boxes one cardboard box and a huge red bag thing. Then there’s computery stuff and the 21" TV which I somehow acquired last year ( Read more... )

Accorsing to Road Trip, it doesn't count if you're in different postal area codes.
I'm not sure the boyfriend would see it like that, but..it is a good film.

Hmmm might work in America, but different postal area codes can be 20 miles apart here :P

And Road trip is pure American Teen trash, but yes... Good film :)

I think I feel insulted. So your new housemates don't make the cool quotient, huh?

I never understood the point of television sets. I'd much rather have a 21-inch flat screen monitor for my computer, and a TV card. Are we getting a TV license for the house, by the way?

I gather that Beth is an SO who currently isn't. Why feel bitter about it though? It's not like any of us own anybody. Things work for a season, and sometimes we're lucky and they work for longer. :-)

I've done the romancy thing with somebody who was with somebody and rationalized that theirs was a dysfunctional relationship that was going to break up anyway. Still felt weird about it. Not like I think monogamy is the end all and be all though.

Nooo it's not the coolness, it's just the not being in a house where vast quantities of vodka are being consumed and where mini lan partys occur than go on til 5 in the mornning. I've missed out on quite a bit of childhoodness and I just don't want to miss out on the uni experience.

Tv lisence : If we do it'll be split two ways *sigh*. Beth isn't a SO though i've wished she was many a time, shes the reason why i'm not liveing with Her and Darren and a load of other people.

"Mini LAN parties"? *raised eyebrow* Obviously there's a few things I've missed as well!

Not to worry: it's never too late to catch up with your childhood (though the experiences of your "actual" childhood do have a bad habit of staying with you, from my experience).

I've never appreciated the merits of consuming vast quantities of alcohol of any description. But I've known plenty of people who swear by it. :-)
