YAY i love visting galleries and museums, i think its great... and seeing these things makes me feel more apart of australia, like im being a part of whats going on around me.

Im with you on that one Matt, Tiller's artwork is brilliant. I was instantly drawn to this piece (maybe because it takes up a whole wall :P). To me it kinda looks like a perfect fantasy world...you know one of those lands you would dream about as a kid after watching some cartoon on tv. Its like a magical world. I think you could gaze at this one for hours and conjure up a million and one different make-believe sernarios of a "special land". A secluded place where all you have is your dreams and thoughts...

Hey mat man, i also really like Immants Tillers work aswell. It was based off my faviourite picture in the world aswell, Eugene Von Guerards Milford New Zealand.

What really gets me is the massive magnificence of both of them, how a master has created in one so much detail and awesomeness, while the other is more surreal and sublime, but still as large as life.

Plus Immants stuff looks like what i doodle sometimes when im on the phone :)

Anyway matt, im glas that they got a view of both my essat painting and yours which are based of each other. I wonder how many similarities we have together?
