home was enjoyable. we ate polish in hamtramck, prime rib on christmas (with prime rib breakfast tacos the next day=score), and sushi in a haunted house. in east lansing i drank too much and demolished a chair. for christmas i got a lot of underwear, books, and money for a bicycle. picshas to come.

oh and my own (maybe influenced by a long comment i just posted on anne's journal):

best: getting accepted/starting to attend grad school, having direction in my life
worst: having all my naive fantasies crushed by the realities of said chosen profession, doggedly following direction anyway for fear of listing off course once again

best - getting a firm grasp on this teaching thing
worst - eating a lot of peanut butter sandwiches this summer because despite my best efforts, i am pretty brokeish.
