I've unfortunately set aside tonight to start to get through the mountain of work I have to do in the next two weeks. Have fun though.

i thought it adhered well to the style of the book, if not so much the content. but i suppose that's a complaint that could be made of many film adaptations.

the eye of the tiger montage came out of nowhere, though. that i could do without.

i thought it was better than the style of the book, if that makes sense. like it took what she did, and went one step further--the movie/animation was a taste of what the book SHOULD have been like, in my opinion. the book did a way better job of telling the story [they always do], but the movie really picked where i think satrapi failed in artistically rendering the story.
