Not to mention a little more than two years on the D.C. Appeals Court (2nd highest court) and a clerk position under Rehnquist.
He's a top Harvard graduate with sound understanding of the Constitution and has represented clients from both the left and right.
Liberals should be thankful Bush didn't appoint a hard-right super conservative, which may happen when Rehnquist resigns if Democrats try to give Roberts a hard time at his hearing.
Republicans allowed Ruth "I look to foreign law for influence" Bader Ginsburg to slide right through the confirmation. Roberts better get the same treatment.
He's got plenty of trial experience. 39 cases is about 2.1 metric fuckloads. But two years on the D.C. appeals court isn't a lot of judicial experience.
My concern is he hasn't got too much judicial experience.
