The fear mongers are sure out in force on Gally Base. The ratings are plummeting, the budget is about to be gutted, The Moff is about to be fired, Matt Smith is about to walk, the consul room sucks/is impossible to film in/is going to be scrapped and re-designed for next season (if there is a next season), the BBC has abandoned it's support of the ( Read more... )

And to add insult to injury, some charges that Vincent and the Doctor was a bland episode! Seriously, the episode was the exact opposite of bland. Stunning, in fact, as magebear rightfully put it. And the last scenes had me gutted.

I was really afraid of Matt Smith as The Doctor, but I have actually turned around on him. He's not David Tennant, but he's not meant to be. He's his own doctor and this season has been great. The haters can shove it.

Seconded! I have to say, I had faith in Steven Moffat. He knows Who. I knew I was going to like Matt in the role, I just didn't know I'd like it so much. He's very much like the 2nd Doc Patrick Troughton, if you've ever seen any of his episodes...
