Sylvester, bless his heart, could never have pulled this off. If he'd gone back and saved them, it would have felt like a relief. Not even more terrifying!

Sylv, back when he was on TV as the Doctor, probably wasn't up to this, but the Sylv I met in LA a few years back, fresh from doing KING LEAR with Sir Ian McKellen (to extremely positive reviews), would probably have relished the challenge.

The Sylv of the NAs, of course, is as perfect an actor as he needs to be.
