I suggest you take up running. Regardless of anything else, the anxiety does a number on your body, mental health, emotional health, and all around physiology. Regular, vigorous exercise will help soothe your nerves, put you out around people more often even if not in a social interaction, and level your blood sugar too. (Stress messes with your blood sugar, and consequently your thinking)
Progress is measured in baby steps. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll do fine. I promise :)
