Quick Non-Specific Anime Update

Since I essentially ran full-force into the brick wall of blogging burnout a few months ago and put a screeching halt to my relentless (yet largely meaningless) anime reviews, I've still been watching various anime shows. Might it help.. rather than reviewing "Everything" just watch everything, but then just pass along reviews of shows that are entertaining and shows that are toxic. Ones to watch and ones to avoid? that might cut your work load by more than half?

Back in the eighties and nineties, the quality of the American voice acting was truly a terrible experience that made shows largely unwatchable (although occasionally HILARIOUS)

What are some of your.. "favorites" in that regard? ^_^ Personally, I couldn't stand the English dubs of Tenchi Muyo or Eva.

Seconded on the notion of simpler reviews that are less time-consuming to create. I always found your insights most helpful in gaining a better idea of a show's merits and weaknesses, and would thoroughly enjoy seeing their return. Without, well.. Animesuki doesn't have even a synopsis per show, so starting from there means essentially hopping to the forum for each (if there is one), and trying to get some impression from that, for each of the four squillion new shows per season. ^_^;;
