Ah, of course the wood stove is serving well to keep things cozy this time of year, and it certainly contributes a coziness all its own! But I purposefully I didn't mention it above because I have the same feeling of thankfulness even in buildings with central heating.

I am definitely enjoying my first winter of central heat! My bedroom was always one of the coldest areas in my parent's house and so even keeping the furnace on the cooler side of comfortable feels like luxury to me, just to have the whole house equally warm!

So sweet of you to think of me and let me know! Work has been so unreal that I just felt I had to disengage a little the past few weekends in order to better refresh my brain and spirit and to regroup for the next go-round. I am SO BEHIND it is depressing if I think about it--behind to the point that people besides myself are being inconvenienced and maligned. So, back to work for me. . . .
