This link isn't really related but it's my friend's blog.

Anyway, don't worry. I haven't really made any friends up in Baltimore other than a few at work. Most of them are flaky with plans and I rarely do things with them outside of work. A small group of them like to go eat dinner at exotic places on Wednesdays but they go to the Columbia area, which is like a 20-minute drive for me.

Looking back, when I first joined Habitat it wasn't that much. I really didn't know anyone (I'm glad my friend Rita was also in the club) and I didn't participate much. The second year is when I knew a lot of the officers and participated in almost every event and that's when it became fun. So from that experience, I'd say give it a year for you to get your bearings.

heh, we did all leave you, didn't we?

My suggestion would be to try and switch up your routine once and a while. Obviously, you have the work schedule and all. But outside of that, try and find some new avenues to go down, spice it up a little. Maybe that will jump start some new motivation or you'll find another interest. It could be anything from joining the Jax Gator Club to just reading your Bible at the library.
