If you were to look at the recent New York City F-trail subway derailment as a stand-alone incident, I wouldn’t hold it against you. Especially since news has just come out that it wasn’t due to the age of the tracks, but a faulty rail supplied by a manufacturer. But let’s examine this for a second. Penn Station wasn't replaced with the post office. It was replaced with the rat's nest that is Madison Square Garden. Disgusting.

Yes, you're right. I was just trying to make a point. The current Penn Station is an exercise in poor planning and bad taste. There is something seriously f'd up with our society when we can spend $1T on wars and nation building overseas but we can't even maintain our most often used roads and transportation hubs domestically.
