The problems of driving down to the beach--the higher-than-expected difficulty of driving on the other side, confusing road signs, and lack of decision-making from everyone until Mark decided to take over--were made totally worth it once we got there. It is easily one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

Quite observant...Mark and I really did appreciate having some alone time at Tesco after we got back to Slough.

It's funny you're writing this a full year later, but it's interesting to see these insights into what was going on in your head that you didn't share with me at the time.

Man, now I really wish we could go back.

Great stuff Matt, it really is awesome to reflect on stuff like this. Every once and a while i like to go back to either my pictures or LJ entries or even my journal that i kept over there and read what i was experiencing only a year or so ago and how different things were. Good times for sure.
