I'm still around but not really on here or Facebook all that often.  I do tweet though, so that's some form of social media particpation.  I still read LJ about once a week or so (still able to catch up on all my friend updates).  Things are going good with Matt - he's in his first year of a Masters in Teaching program at Hamline and he's working

I have been wondering this for some time now and this is not meant to be snarky or mean in any way...

If you are in the Michele Bachmann area I assume you know the people of the area. Are they particularly stupid or bigoted in this part of Minnesota. You see I have always been under the impression that Minnesota had a rather large population of highly intelligent folks.

How does one account for her being the person to represent them?
