What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?Wrote two more cover stories for Alternative Press, visited Europe, interviewed a boatload of new people I respect, became adopted by a whole new family in Los Angeles, just about the exact moment when I needed to, and had surgery followed by a stay in the hospital - twice!! well, besides the two hideous funk tracks, its got me in its grip. nothing is burn to shine, however, its still great

I'm not a Ben Harper fan- I don't really like most of his stuff but I like that album. Parts of it were written in The 101 Coffeshop (where Ryan spent some of his money this year). Ben Harper is an investor there. One of the songs was written about a girl I know. I guess I just find it kind of interesting when pople talk about it.
