"The Alrights new album is much better than the Cars & Trucks release or any of the other releases I have heard this year. It smokes em' all, and if the local press doesn't recognize this band for it, then they are all a bunch of old cronies that need to get over Alan Sparhawk and The Ripsaw."

The pitchfork has much better music reviewers than Andrew Olson.

Look at me, I'm a reviewer reviewer, with as much tact and skill as Andy himelf!

Also I emailed him, so that means he is definitely going to quit, he'd never back out of a statement like that.

Did you guys actually send him/The Reader a CD? I mean, he's a turd, but to bring up an album he didn't even HAVE to listen to it pretty mind blowing. I've come to expect it, but honestly his pettiness continues to surprise me.

Also, please list five ways in which you guys sound enough like the Alrights to make a fair comparison.

Also, please list five things Alan Sparhawk personally contributed to the writing or recording of your album.

Also, please list five ways in which The Ripsaw has had anything to do with anyting in the past two years.

Also, please list five ways in which Olson will slink out of his pledge to quit.

olson is blatantly crying out for attention, which is one of the worst attributes in a review writer. or any writer. or any human being. the whole thing is so pitiful. i feel sorry for him.

let's not make this about my ginger brothers and sisters, alright?!? we're a proud people.

the funniest thing about this is that he must've come to the realization that being buddies wasn't any fun. i mean, he even repressed an old interview with mat before our CD release show. so, he tried.

i wonder if this is coming about because he finally read our CD release poster. you know, the one he published alongside his reprinted article.

what a nob.
