1. choose your own adventure books are GREAT. 2. theres been a lack of replies to people in general lately 3. it's a form of communication. even if people dont respond, they still read it.
i mean, you might as well keep it. it's not like by having it you have to write in it a lot.. doesn't really hurt anything to have it around in case you feel like using it every once in a while. i did that for a long time. yep.
I think the reasoning im using, though, is that the purpose of an online journal is for other people to see and comment and blah blah.
Looking at the majority of my friends list, yourself included, I barely, or don't, talk to most of them. I'm not even sure there's an interest by anyone to see what I have to say now.
I mean, if i was just looking for an outlet to write about my thoughts or what happens each day, a traditional journal would serve just fine.
So that's why I'm wondering if I shouldn't so much delete it, I guess, but rather just let it die. hm.
if you don't keep this journal, you will become pretty much dead to me (since i'm hardly online, and you have disassociated yourself from everyone for some reason). you've not only condemned the internet, you've condemned people in the real world, too. but, perhaps we represent the internet, and this is why you have condemned us. hmm. anyway, back to my point.... i don't think you should delete your journal. just because people don't comment doesn't mean that we don't read it. and if you're too lazy to keep it up, you can just update every once in a while and tell us how you're doing.
oh.... and if you haven't talked to people recently on your friends list, that's not entirely THEIR fault, is it?
I would be disappointed if you deleted. It's one (lame) thing to not post on the board anymore, but if you delete the journal, that is it. Nevermore will I have any clue what is going on in the life of Matt. And that wouldn't be cool.
And I haven't even met you. I'm sure there are others interested in your life too.
And with that, you can eiter be scared or be pleased.
p.s. I would still like to talk to you sometime about Buffy etc. if you still want to. I've always just chickened out of going on AIM because it scares me. Because I am a freak. But I'll get over it.
