Hey ho everyone,

Must say i'm awfully cheerppy lately, some things suck, but you can't solve all the worlds problems, but we can help those in less developed countries. Me and Nay are planning to set up some sort of group to protest and try and help those who are getting fucked over by unfair trade and other capitilist crimes.

People have shared and swapped tapes and LPs for tens of years now. So what has changed suddenly in the point of views on this since the Internet revolution?

This is probably because it's easier to track down/catch those who download online from kids who swap cds etc.

It's the same-old capitalist ideal of keeping the money at the top. I think it's disgusting sometimes the amount people pay for cds and when bands like Metallica who have got shitloads of money start gassing off about people downloading their songs etc, it really makes me lose respect for them.

definitely... I can't afford 14+ quid for a cd from a shop like mvc, granted you can get them cheap on the internet, but copying or downloading is so much easier and cheaper. Though I'd prefer affordable albums etc, than to carry on copying/downloady, I like real Cds.

I like to get 'real CDS' of bands I really love for the inlay cover/artwork etc (Sad I know) but yeah, 14+ for a CD is a lot of money.

Copying/Downloading is cheaper and it means people who can't afford to buy cds reguarly are not being made exempt.
