There and Back again, and Idiots tale by... me?

So this is my update about things and my trip to Seattle. So...

So, anywayz. I left on Wednesday, took the train to my dad's. I had already asked them to borrow the car and they agreed. Yay for me. SWEET, I got the jetta. Everybody fear for your lives! And that's how much I love stick shifts. They're fun. I never showed Lindsey how... engaging... my driving is. But I spent the night at his house, deciding that I'd rahter get a good nights sleep. Didn't get to sleep till 1 o'clock. Woke up before my alarm went off. A whole hour earlier! That sucked. Should've taken kev's advice and left that night, drive for four hours then sleep at some gas station, wake up, drive the rest of the way. That probably would've been so much better.

So, this is one of five pic's I took as I was goin' to Washington. It really did feel like I was going up hill.

The drive up was sunny all the time. That was a good part about it. Driving alone can get really boring, no matter how much music you've got. It would've been nice if Kev could've come, or Ian. Hell, just about anybody would've worked for me. But whatever. I made it.

When I go to their place, it was about 10. I had gotten lost, but only once. Cuz the directions that I printed out were still in my pocket, and I was using the ones my dad had given me. He printed them out when I told him I was going to Seattle. Lindsey lives in Tacoma, and that's only an hour away from Seattle. So, it wasn't that bad, I only went out of my way for about 10 minutes. Plus, when you're driving at 90 miles an hour, 10 minutes on the freeway is nothing. Got to her house around 10... at least, I think I did. Oh well. Her place is nice. She rents it out for who knows what, but it's way cheaper than what kevin and Ian pay for. And it's half the size. Fucking S.F. and their high prices. So, I slept on their couch, which is a requirement when ever I see "one of the girls." Bed? What? F-that, they've got a couch. Plus, it's not like they had a spare bed. No biggie. Was friggin' tired after the drive, so I went right to sleep.

Carla woke me up. Not on purpose, but cuz of all the moving around she did in the kitchen. No biggie, I was probably snorin' anywayz. That's the last thing anybody needs, a snorin' oaf. Ate food. Went to see Lindsey's school, PLU. It's old. I liked the feel. They had this 'quad' called 'red square' or something like that, where if you throw rocks over the bricks, they make noises cuz they're hollowed out. It was cool, and weird all at the same time. I met Brandon, Lindsey's b/f. He's a cool guy. I like him. He KILLED me in halo, but I guess that's cuz I was out of practice and he's a friggin' overlord in that game. Anywayz... I don't hold a grudge.... yea, that's it.

Later on that day, Lindsey, Carla and I went to Seattle. First time ever goin' there. Space Needle.

That picture sucks. Here's some from up top.

Lindsey took that one. I guess I just wanted proof I was up there. Damn it's cloudy in Seattle.

Lindsey wanted to go on one before I left. That would've been interesting. I always wanted to take a ferry that had cars on it. I've been on plenty of ferrys, just none that housed cars. Plus, I hear Seattle at night is cool lookin', and it's even better if you're on a ferry.

Probably one of the better pics I got of the city. Damn those wires thou, always gettin' in the way. Oh well.

That night, we went to Lindsey's parents house. I've met her dad before, always seemed like he'd be right at home choppin' down trees and stuff. (No offense Lin... *ahem.*) First time I met her mom thou, that was fun. They're both cool parents, nice and chatty and stuff. Then, Bill I think was his name, came over and chatted it up with Lindsey and the rest of us. He's a cool guy. Very into sports and stuff. We all hung out for a bit then we left to go back to Lindsey's appartment. When we got back, they broke out this game, apples to apples. First time I ever played that game. It was fun. Then we were done with the game, and I got schooled in Halo. Course, I wasn't the only one, but still, it was a lil devestating to me. I'll get over it. Then we went to Brandon's dorm room and watched Euro Trip. That's a funny freakin' movie. "SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW, SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW!" HAHA. Anywayz. Slept the night there. Nother couch, nother interesting night.

Woke up to the sound of somebody makin' food and what not. Brandon's roomy, can't remember his name. But he was cool. Watched Hero for the first time. That movie kicks ass. Got a ride back to Lindsey's place. Picked up my car. Drove Brandon and I to Subway. Drove back to his dorm room to meet Lindsey there. Ate the food, just as Lindsey informs us that we're gonna be eating sushi in about 2 hours. I said, "there's always room for sushi." And there was. I had a Samuri roll. It's just rice, seaweed and now for the life of me I can't remember what the hell that green stuff is. But that's what's in the middle. I ate 5 of 'em, and Brandon had one cuz he wanted to know how it tasted. Lindsey had some as well, and Brandon was a first timer so he had to get a lil bit of it all. It sucked that he wasn't exactly impressed with it. Oh well. For Carla, that was her dinner, so she had a bit more than us. After that, it was straight to Sin City. (Sorry Jess, I guess you did see it before I did. Oh well, I've seen it twice.) That movie is BAD ASS!!! That's all I really wanna say about it right now.

Went "home." Carla was freaked about the movie a lil. She just wanted to watch a happy movie, so we shoved the Lion King in there and sat back. Lindsey went right to sleep. She didn't really watch the movie. I can understand, I think she was beat cuz of Apples to Apples and Seattle and her parents and sushi and Sin City. So, yea. Me and Carla chatted. She reminded me of someone all too familiar right then. It was freaky, but funny.

Slept, woke up. Said my good bye. Drove home.

That was the weather all the way down. It sucked. A lot. But I saw some cool things at certain places.

I looked down for a second and then I looked up and was freakin' out for a second. Can you think why?

It was deffinately gettin' closer by the second, and these pictures were after the fact. But I wanted to show sort of how it was. It felt like the Matrix or something.

Some of the pics were cool thou. It seems I get my "best work" with clouds and stuff.

Course, the lighting sucks here and the scene actually looked much more beautiful than that.

Maybe this one is bettah.

Or this.

And just as I get back into Cali, I need to refill the tank. Freakin' Gas prices.

Oh so patriotic to pay for it thou, just ask them damned republicans. ARGH!!!

But I'm glad to be back in the bay.

I wanted that last one to be just right.

So as much as I enjoyed goin' to Seattle, kickin' it with Lindsey and her buds, I can't really beat the Bay. It's got it all. And Lindsey, hey, we've got fog here too. Just kiddin'.
