I need some serious life changing help. I started out at my college with an associate's degree in art, but I changed it to English because I decided that would be more helpful with my career of choice (author). However, when I changed majors, I was led to believe I only needed French 1 and French 2, which is fine. I can do that. But after changing ( Read more... )

I think you should, I mean, its not like an editor or a publisher will care if you got a degree in English, or Creative Writing, or Literature or whatever, they'll just look at your writing. I say go for it! Go!

You need to do whatever you feel is the right thing to do. But I am sorry about all of this bullshit. Your adviser is supposed to go over all of this shit with you whenever you change your major. But, of course, they never do what they are supposed to do. I'm sorry. Just do what you think will be the most beneficial.
