Well, today marks the actual canon date of Light Yagami's death. So much death in one month! I know most of you out there don't like Light, but I love him. From the start of the very first manga I was rooting for Kira all the way. Of course I love L, (I cosplay him for Jeevas' sake!) but I agree with Light's outlook and although he went about it

I'll admit. I liked Light at first because he started out with good intentions. Then he went psycho and his original intentions went out the window. Then it was all about being "God of the New World". That's when I stopped liking him. And then he became a total jackass and I started hating him.

And lay off of Near! He was just trying to stop a crazed madman! (Agree with you about Mikami though. He's a whole different kind of crazy.) And Light killed L (maybe not directly, but he still killed him), which makes everything Near did completely justified. XP

I love Light. The world has much more criminal activity without him, though he was Kira more than Light in the end. I'll miss you Light!
