well, basically.

your whole being emo thing started a whole series of events that seemed to be just some sort of sick downward spiral.

but it definitely made for an interesting couple of nights.

I don't understand how a child coming from a lower class family can't go on to become a chef or a scientist? The point of life I think is what you make of it. I think we can all pretty much do anything we want if we put our minds to it.

Due to your review of that movie I think I REALLY want to see it now.

true, and people change anyways. I don't still want to be an astronaut, but I would like to go into space. and I wouldn't really mind being a professional LEGO modeler or a video game designer, but I don't really have any drive to really want to actively pursue either of them. but when hearing it come from a young child, it just seems so innocent and hopeful, and like he has his whole life to grow into what he wants, but then he'll meet some friends and he'll become more concerned with having a good time then what he wanted to be and blah blah blah I no longer know where I'm going with this.

in summation, what is the point of life anyways but what you make of it. I guess having good friends and good times, regardless of occupation, can make for a full life.

and yes, definitely go see that movie. I'm strongly considering going to see it again.

That movie was fantastic. I know what you mean about the camera work for the action sequences... the camera work made me a little dizzy at first, but it made it all seem so much more real. It was kind of like watching a documentary at times, especially towards the end where the real action was happening. Great movie. Pull my finger!

"I haven't even had a dream of what I've wanted to be in well over 5 years, and the only thing I've desired to be recently, everyone I know thinks it is a fucking stupid idea."

what is the thing you desire to be, if you don't mind me asking?
