i just got back from an eastern (i think) caribbean cruise out of miami to nassau (bahamas), st. thomas (u.s. virgin islands) and st. maarten/martin (half dutch, half french). good times. *is still recovering*
Glad to have you back. How many days were you at sea?
I hope I am able to take a longer trip, if only because I'll be starting further north. And I want to have at least one port of call in Mexico. I saw one with a stop in Belize.
Were you able to see much of any of the places you stopped? I understand that you don't get much time at any one place. Maybe a day.
I'm actually more excited about the 2010 road trip. Arlene wants me to stop by San Antonio, so I'll start by heading south. I'm still looking for other places, both south and west of me.
it was a 7-day cruise. we went to each of the islands for a day, and we had four days at sea. we were able to see the touristy places of our islands, lol. there are various excursions you can do that can take you different places, though. i'll have some pictures up in a day or two, once i get my room back in order.
we're looking into another cruise same time next year. we traveled on the carnival fun ships.

As for cruise destinations, check out if there are any cruise from Cape Canaveral going to the Caribbean. You can't go wrong there. :)
