Last night Ally's mom delivered a delicious homecooked meal that JE and I got part of. Homemade tortillas are unqualified awesome.

I'm so very terrible at Christmas. Always waiting until the last minute to buy gifts.

Aperitif: Torchy's Tacos, with Ricky: breakfast taco (Monk's Special) was good but nothing special. Green chile pork taco: awesome! Queso fresco complemented this well. So my car worries might have been a simple case of low tire pressure. Driving back to my apartment, some guy who looked like a skinny The Rock made some intricate hand motion while passing me that I decoded to be, "Yer tire's low." Went to see John's new keg-erator setup. Shiner Holiday Cheer is much better on tap, much less bitter. Though it took a few tries to get the CO2 tank working properly.

Thursday was layoff day. Carina, Cecilia, Julie, and Lorelei lost their jobs, among numerous others I wasn't so acquainted with; this might have left me more or less in charge of the calculus book, which is a bit frightening, honestly. Monday we bottled twice. December will be a good month.

Wednesday Texas came to town, so he and Ricky and Jen and I met at El Arroyo. Kyu showed up later, and Jen went home, and the four of us went to John's.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving. It was much subdued from last year's, but I'm glad, I didn't feel sickly stuffed.
