You ever have that dream where something goes down and you have to hit somebody, so you get a few really good swings but the guy just laughs them off. I feel so powerless in that dream. Anyway, if any of you can interpret this dream for me (because it's been recurring for over 4 years now), let me know.

This is just me being a nerd... but I am reading The Aeneid in my english class, and apparently Virgil has an interpretation for your dream. Essentially, a warrior on the Latin side named Turnus is battling against the famous Trojan, Aeneas. In a last desperate attempt to kill Aneneas, he throws a large stone at him. " Just as in dreams of night, when languid rest has closed our eyes, we seem in vain to wish to press down a path, but as we strain, we falter, weak; our tongues can say nothing, the body loses its familiar force, no voice, no word can follow..." Essentially the Gods deny Turnus any success or glory he hoped for because he was fated to lose to Aeneas. So I agree with Joey, you must be struggling with an invincible foe- any idea what it might be?
