R/s - Anime/manga canon mash-up

Since we're using a mash-up of canon, I thought it would be a wise idea to present, up to the school festival, the chronological order of events. The episode and chapter numbers are both given.

• Bonus story of Tamaki's arrival! (Bonus Chapter) [This is how he arrived in Japan, and this is when he got Antoinette]
  
• And So Kyouya Met Him! (Ch33/Ep24) [Flashback story! Manga canon and anime canon are melded. Mainly because we wanted to keep the scene of the piano-playing. This gives Kyouya some room to be to himself after he starts punching walls in anger, but on the other hand, it gives more details about Fuyumi, her marriage, and her presence in the story. And it explains why Tamaki has such idiotic ideas about Japan.]
  
• The Doors The Twins Opened! (Ch37/Ep20) [Flashback story! Manga canon of the origin is dominant because Kaoru and Tamaki like tickling!]
  
• Starting Today, You Are A Host! (Ch1/Ep1)
  
• The Job of a High School Host! (Ch2/Ep2)
  
• Attack of the Female Manager! (Ch3/Ep4) [Since it doesn't PARTICULARLY matter either way, we cede to anime canon in the order of Renge's appearance]

• A Day In The Life of the Fujioka Family! (Ch12-Ch13/Ep 10)
  
• Big Brother Is A Prince! (Ch21/Ep11) [We give in to anime order again! Also, Tamaki is a scaredy-cat! Therefore, it will be Renge-kun and not the King of Cowards who teaches Nekozawa-sempai to be a Prince. And, as revealed in the manga, Kirimi learns to love the darkness. Aww.]
  
• Honey's Three Bitter Days! (Ch14/Ep12)
  
• Interviewing the Famous Host Club! (Ch15/Ep14) [The rose garden/maze exists and is where Tamaki and Haruhi hide out while the rest of the Host Club are BAMFs and lay down the law to the Newspaper Club.]
  
• Haruhi Fails At Marks! (Ch17)
  
• Karuizawa Adventures! (Ch18-Ch20/Ep15-Ep16) [In anime canon, Kyouya only suggested that Tamaki play piano, while in manga he brought up Antoinette first and THEN made the suggestion. We go with the anime here.]
  
• Kyouya's Reluctant Day Out! (Ch28/Ep17) [Anime canon in order, once again. As indicated earlier, Antoinette will be a gift from Tamaki's dad (as in the manga) and not bought at the mall. ...This, of course, means that everyone but Haruhi and Kyouya will have been tied up and left at the mall because there is no dog to distract Kyouya's anger, but he relented eventually! On the bright side, they have a new experience of knowing what it is like to be tied up upside down at a commoner's store. As well, Renge-kun's Host Club Sentai show from the anime is to be considered canon!]

• Chika's “Down With Honey” Declaration! (Ch29-Ch30/Ep18) [Anime canon in order! On the other hand, Satoshi's existence is totally canon because we all love Satoshi. So insert him into this episode.]
  
• Lobelia's Girls Academy Strikes Back! (Ch31/Ep19) [We're using the manga version for the end! It was thus an exercise in learning what stupid things boys will do for the Lobelia girls, and not about getting the first kiss Haruhi already lost.]
  
• Until The Day It Becomes A Pumpkin! (Ch32/Ep21) [It is the Black Magic club, not the Host Club, that had its lulz terrorizing the foursome.]
  
• The Ouran Festival! (Ch22-Ch26/Ep25-Ep26) [Anime Manga canon officially takes over! Eclair doesn't appear at all. This includes, of course, the competition to win the main salon, as well as Tamaki and Haruhi's adorable food-eating thing, and Kyouya's scary Xanatos Gambit moves.]

• The Adventure Of Bossa-Nova-Kun! (Ch34-Ch36/Ep22-Ep23) [These events take place in their manga-canon after the festival. Also, Bossa Nova-kun gets to have Shiro as his Lovely Item, as in the manga.]

General notes:

• The Ootori Family Staff from the manga are kept! That means they just inconspicuously lurk around in the places where they are in the manga.
  
• Suou-papa will be more manga-version than anime version.
  
• And Ootori-papa will be more like the manga-version.
  
• When we reach the festival, we'll swap over to manga canon almost entirely, except for the chapters that have been moved to pre-festival following anime canon, of course.
  
• For the twins, the Thief Maid is done in the style of the manga! Yay for storytelling! As well, none of those twin maids that are in the anime! That means that for Haruhi and Hikaru's date, Kaoru dressed Haruhi!
  
• In general, if there is a Renge appearance in the anime that was held by another character in the manga, that appearance goes to Renge instead.
