This magically-protected journal shall henceforth be the log of all efforts pertaining to Operation: Woo Lily [OWL]. The keepers of this journal must uphold a solemn oath to volunteer any and all spare energy to the stated operation.
The stated operation has but one (1) goal: Unite our brother, James Potter, and his beloved, Lily Evans, in a non-platonic, affection-ridden relationship.
We, the undersigned, vow to allocate time and effort to successfully achieving the main goals of Operation: Woo Lily. We also are in compliance with the 5 Commandments of OWL, which are as follows.
I. Thou must speak kindly of our most dedicated brother, James Potter, when conversing with his beloved, Lily Evans.
II. Thou shalt do thy best to deter all suitors other than our brother, James Potter.
III. Thou shalt not employ any method of dissuasion to hinder the efforts of Operation: Woo Lily.
IV. Thou shalt not develop non-platonic affections towards his beloved, Lily Evans. If such affections occur, proper measures should be taken to ensure that thy interests do not conflict with the efforts of Operation: Woo Lily.
V. Thou shalt be persistent in thy efforts to aid Operation: Woo Lily. Thou shalt not cringe if thou encounters the wrath of his beloved, Lily Evans, any such accomplices, or presently distressed suitors.
