You are right - that line is stupid.

I still can't believe that it will be over after tonight *sob*

That line has nothing to do with what actually happened. The death of The OC is partly a creative failure, partly poor scheduling, and part other bad Fox decisions.

This part of the JS article made me laugh, even though it's a very sad situation:

So it was Peter Liguori who was pushing you away from the comedy last year?

I'm not going to say anything bad about the guy.

Hey, you're off the air in a few days. What's he going to do?

Yeah, what's he going to do? Put us in a terrible timeslot and not promote us?

Ok, I'm going back to being depressed about the end again :(

How much do I love that Josh references fanfic?

As much as Marissa loved booze.

I know, that totally cracked me up! It was one of the reasons I linked the article.

I'm fascinated by all the ways Fox messed with the show - I'd suspected some of it, but wow. And Josh really needs to have someone tell him that Kirsten and Sandy were the foundation of the show! You don't muck around with the foundation unless you want the whole thing to topple.

I know! I mean, obviously JS made some major mistakes, but it sounds like he can pretty fairly blame most of season three on the network.

Who knows about the great Luke/Anna love story? Now you can only find out about that in fanfics.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't ANNA Luke was lovin' up in the fanfics. :)

At least not in any of your fanfics.

mandilyn reminded me of the drabble wars last night. That was a fun time.

Yup - The War of the Oranges. And Shosh was the Evil Ice Queen. We valiantly defeated her evil minions. :)
