He visited the kids at school today :) It was FANTASTIC!
It was SO MUCH FUN! Will post pics this weekend ;)

The kids had their clogs filled at school today - and they loved it lol. All they were talking about when they got home was how the Piet's had made a mess of their classroom and they had to clean it up.

awww, setting your clogs and getting presents is soooo much fun! And lol, the Piets actually came to my work on Thursday, but I refused the hugs :P
It's such a great holiday for the kids though; the kids in my neighboruhood are running around the street, all excited and singing.

Haha true, it is awesome. My son was running around AH tonight, with a Sinterklaas hat on singing... whatever that Sinterklaas song is in Dutch - and all the older folk were stopping him and talking to him in Dutch and he just kept shaking his head and saying 'Engels' before launching into the Dutch song again. It was really cute.

I actually woke up to the sounds of kids singing Sinterklaas-songs because I live next to an elementary school in Amsterdam, lol!
It's cute though. Saw some kids in town dressed up as Piets, frakking adorable!
