But the thing is that it was his decision to make, not yours. And beliefs can change very easily, it just takes one thing to make you realize that something is not for you. Being edge obviously wasn't for jeff, maybe it is for you and thats fine, but this is just a dumb reason to end a friendship.

Hello, I have no idea who you are, but allow me to introduce myself. I'm Cassie and I read about the drama in Megan's journal so I decided to investigate. After reading all of this bullshit, I decided to comment. In the past five years of my life I have coexisted with many of my friends being straight edge, and although I never claimed edge, there was a point where I was against drugs, alcohol, and promiscuous sex. When I decided to explore the party scene, my friends never betrayed me or became disloyal, they were actually there to listen to my stories, and although they weren't too fond of the idea themselves, they understood that I was my own person, which in turn brings up the question of what true friendship really is. Everyone has different beliefs in this world and for a level-headed person to live happily they must have an open mind, which in this case your friends have apparently had no lessons in. If they were really your friends to begin with, they would accept you for who you are, not who they want you to be. So don't get

Aw, this is so sad. Who cares if the poor guy wanted to get high? We all have the right to make personal decisions as to what we put into our body. I choose to smoke pot and if anyone is going to judge me for that, then they're the biggest idiots I've ever met.
