Emmett had heard someone walking closer from down the hallway but he didn't expect them to stop outside his door. He stopped singing and raised an eyebrow up at Liir.

"There a problem, dude?" Emmett asked. Because Emmett didn't think there was something weird about a 6'5" dude singing 80's tunes while folding his jeans.

He shook his head mutely before it tilted to one side.

"That's a very... odd sort of song, that's all."

The musical qualities were unlike anything he was really familiar with (since his exposure to music even here was mostly in the realm of instrumentals) and the lyrics sounded, well, rather Ozian. Had it been written BY a Tiger?

"Not bad," he added quickly because it wasn't, "just odd."

"A present? For me?" Emmett's look of glee was genuine even though he had a guess as to what it was already. He dropped the pair of jeans he was in the midst of folding and went to Sookie's side. "I love presents!"
