How rad would it be if I landed a bartending gig?

Pretty rad.

I am really sick. Head cold. Lotsa snot. And pain. Snot and pain. Little kids stare at me wide eyed because I look like a prime contestant for the jr. bag lady pageant. Is this the worst day of it, or will that be tomorrow? It'd better be today.

I finished my lab write-up around noon and turned it in. I called about the GRE subject test, and found out I can fax my corrections today, and bring my registration number to the place tomorrow to get in. No problem. The faxing is done. The wheel turns backwards. This week was supposed to be a tight time crunch, but now it's neigh impossible. I was dumb and drank wed night. Yesterday I woke up with the full blown stomach flu, which has been going around the school unbeknownst to me. I was incredibly sick yesterday. Can't sleep. Can't study. I'm incapacitated by stress... so I'm drinking milk. I wish I had more than one carton, but I'm in no condition to go out to the store. It might not be the best (or even a very sane) course of action under the circumstances, but somehow gorging myself on milk gives me the illusion of control. And I'm still fooling ( Read more... )
