Shall we look at the alternatives?

Facebook: impossible to write long things; don't really want a bunch of people who haven't been in your life knowing all your biz.

Twitter: only good for lobbing bon mots @patrickstump AMIRITE???

Tumblr: what if you want to write something and not just repost someone's photo of abstract art?

So yeah maybe it's time to call it a comeback.
