than having DREAMS about people defriending you on facebook? it's like, an embarrassment on every level, especially the fact that you're having DREAMS ABOUT FREAKING FACEBOOK. -
oh and
i solved the saturday crossword yesterday! that particular achievement was thanks in large part to transit-related delays, one of which made me miss my train to dc and another of which allowed me to figure out the eight-letter solution to "terrifying thing to be thrown into" ("lions' den"). -

it's only going to cost $25 to bring my favorite shoes back from the dead! thank you, john fluevog, for realizing that people get really attached to certain styles, and helping them realize that even though the shoes they have worn into the ground are 'out of print,' they don't have to be consigned to the bin.
