I already gushed over at Igraine's LJ, but this is, indeed, a singularly good story -- one-of-a-kind, I am guessing. It's full of beautiful writing and is excitingly imagined.

I can't say I dreaded "wing fics," not knowing there was an actual genre for them. But I love the Cupid and Psyche myth and this fic makes fine use of it.

I've made a half-comic, half-lovely Frodo manip from a 19th century painting of Cupid and Psyche, but I left Psyche as Psyche in it, not Sam, so I don't suppose it would serve. *smile*

Sadly, I'm now at work where nothing is safe to look at *smile* so I'll have to continue complimenting you when I get some quality alone time. And believe me, from what I've glimpsed, that will definitely be time of the very highest quality!
