The odd thing is that it had no bad smell when I unpacked it! You would figure it would smell at least a bit once unfrozen, since (my best guess) it was bad before they froze it to begin with. *shrug* Ah, well.

The neighborhood feral cats had good food and are in happy space with the family, so it went to some good use. They eat Everything, tear through garbage bags for what ever scraps they can find and all. I put the bird on a box lid and set it next to the barrel since it was too large to fit in properly and they tore it apart and took it, so its fairly well gone now. Just a few bits and pieces left and cats sitting on the fence watching it. *smiles*

Aye but it was cold, yes? - our sense of smell isn't great (which is why I use the cat) and cold dampens it. Cooking is the ultimate test :)

Oh, yes, it was Very cold, but even still I can normally smell something thats bad, but this one time the honker lets me down, but in the end its all good because I fed the wild cats and we had food here to go round w/o the bird.Yesterday I bought frozen turkey dinners so we had our T-day a day late, no biggie. *hugs* Thanks for being concerned. yer sweet. ;)
