I don't think life is all that disappointing. Sure, it has its downfalls here and there, but overall I would say that I feel pretty lucky to be around so many cool people almost all the time.

Erik life is not disapointing in any way! Life is amazingly wonderful! Disapointing things happen but that doesn't ruin all of life. Geez Erik. Plus you have 2 bodacious babes as friends...what more could you want?

Eric, I read your little apology entry, and I see how Sam and Rozzy kind of razzed you for saying you were dissappointed in life. Listen man, you don't have to be sorry about being sad or unhappy with the way things turned out. Sam and Roz are great girls, and they care about you, but they don't always understand. If you're sad about shit, you need to be okay with that. In High School I was terrified to act as sad as I felt sometimes, cause I didn't want people to stop liking me when I was blue. But that's fucked up. If you're dissappointed, just be fucking dissappointed and don't feel bad about it. It's not embarassing to be real Maurer. No one would fault you for acting happy when you felt happy, who are they to say you can't act sad when you feel sad? Be real Maurer, and you will be alright.

You're a good guy Maurer...thoughtful and gentle. Don't lose those qualities trying to fake happiness. Just be real, and keep searching for the real thing.
