In response to your question, I think that it is around 6,000 years old. I don't know the exact number, but that is remotely acurate...

I THINK its about 6,000 years old...at least thats how far it's traced thorugh Genisis.... but there may be some intyeresting missing sections like generations unaccounted for or something odd like that.
but its believed to be about 6,000 years old. my dad learned it in Bible College and i read a book with that in there.

um... that picture of me is less than flattering...

and per my astronomy class, the earth is roughly 6,000-8,000; depending on if you are a young-earth-creationist or an old-earth-creationist....
