For the first time since I was 24, I had a client 'stiff' me for a substantial sum of money.  It won’t happen again.

Ouch. Don't suppose it's worth going through the small claims court system?

By the time I figure in the costs of a small claims suit, it wouldn't pay. I'll recoup where I can and not let it happen again.
