Installing a new toilet seat makes you get more up close and personal with your toilet than any person could ever want.

I don't think I've ever been in such close proximity to the toilet bowl except when I've been drunk, in which case, it was forgettable and therefore not as gag-inducing. Thankfully I keep a relatively clean toilet.

Meh, you get used to it. I have to do that every time I move. I have my own toilette seat. Much better than the cheap plastic ones they have in rentals.

And hey! You now know that sitting on your toilette is no longer dangerous!

:O I laughed so hard when I read you have your own toilet seat. But then I thought about it and I suppose it makes sense given how expensive *nice* toilet seats are! (Hello I bought the $5 one at the store because I didn't feel like dropping $30 on something I put my naked ass on. Jim does not share this sentiment. lol)

Hee hee! I thought you might. However, when you are renting and everyone else's naked ass has been on something, you might want to think about changing it before plonking yours on it! Plus, the cheapo ones here are really flimsy. They don't last long. The last one I bought was expensive, but I had it for 12 years. I have an Ikea one now, but that's held up fine for at least three, so hopefully I'll get more out of it. Ooooookaaaayyyy, One should not be able to say this much on the subject of a toilette seat...Now I'm worried. Maybe I should start seeing a psychiatrist.
